How to Participate:
Please complete the registration form below. There can be no more than 3 people to a boat. If you have your own canoe or kayak you are welcome to bring it.

Attendees have the option to come just for the day or camp at our backcountry sites. Please contact us if you are interested in camping.

This event is being held at one of our Lakes. To access the lake you must park your car at one of the MacKenzie Lane parking lots and hike in. There is an outhouse in the main parking lot. There is no drinking water on site, please be sure to bring your own food and water. There is a limited power supply at the parking lot.

Please do not use any soft plastic baits. Live worms are permitted, no frogs or other amphibians. Click here for an overview of the rules of the park.

After entering the main gate off Hwy 62, drive 500m until you reach the gatehouse on your right. There is an outhouse there which you may use. Continue driving straight along MacKenzie Ln. You will cross the Hastings Heritage Trail which has gates on either side.

Drive 2.6km along MacKenzie Ln until you reach Jocko West Lot. This is the first option to access the lake. You can park your vehicle at the Jocko West Lot and hike 2.3km to reach the weight station at campsite 181.

Alternatively you can continue driving 1km to the Jocko East Lot. The trail head to reach Jocko Lake is another 100m up MacKenzie Ln from the parking lot. This trail is a wide old logging road, so there is some vehicle access to drop off canoes or people with mobility issues.

We are holding the weigh station and fish fry at campsite 181. It’s about a 100m walk from the main trail.
