Description

Campsite Description

This campsite is the only campsite on Taits Lake. The lake is a top-quality swimming spot. The campsite
is a hike in site and is right off the trail. The fire pit is close to the water and you should enjoy the
reflection of the fire on the water. Looking like a potentially good bass fishing lake. Campsite is open
and on the North end of the lake so you have a view of the whole lake. Rangers Favorite.

Arriving/leaving

  • Check-in time 2:00 pm
  • Check-out time 2:00 pm

Directions

This campsite is located in the far North-East corner of the Park. There are a few options to get there. You can incorporate this site into a trip around the Blue Seas Loop or the Grand Loop. You can also take a short-cup there by parking at the North Lane Lot and hiking up North Lane. This is an old logging road and continues to exist for emergency access so the hiking conditions are very easy.
